Why I Built Own. Move. Anchor.
There comes a point where what you’ve built still works, but it no longer fits.
That’s where I found myself.
People, Process, Progress was built on real experience. Military, public safety, healthcare, program and project leadership. It helped people think, plan, and execute. It still does.
But over time, something became clear.
Process matters at work.
But life doesn’t run on a project plan.
You can have the right framework, the right tools, even the right mindset, and still feel off. Physically, mentally, spiritually. I’ve been there.
So this isn’t a pivot away from that work.
It’s an expansion of it.
Own. Move. Anchor. is how I’m living now.
Own your mind, take responsibility for your thoughts, your reactions, your direction.
Move your body, train for strength, resilience, and health, not just appearance.
Anchor your spirit, stay grounded when things get heavy, because they will.
This isn’t theory. It’s built from 50+ years of living, 20+ years of marriage, 19+ years of parenting, time in uniform, time on calls, time in hospitals, and time under the bar and on the mats.
It’s what holds up when pressure shows up.
Consolidation
This site is where it all comes together.
You’ll find the podcast, where I break down ideas through historical reference, personal experience, and practical application.
You’ll find the YouTube channel, where I share the physical side, workouts, jiu jitsu, cold exposure, showing up and doing the work.
You’ll find the book, The Stability Equation, where the 7 pillars come together in a structured way.
And you’ll find short written posts here, real lessons, things I’m working through, things that might help you steady yourself and keep moving forward.
Thank you
If you’ve followed People, Process, Progress, I appreciate it. That work isn’t going away. It’s part of the foundation.
This is just the next step.
Less about managing projects.
More about managing yourself.
Start where you are.
Own your mind.
Move your body.
Anchor your spirit.
Godspeed y’all,
Kevin
