About Kevin Pannell

I’ve spent my career in environments where pressure is real, decisions matter, and outcomes aren’t theoretical.

I’ve worked through multiple phases of responsibility, from serving as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman in critical care, to public safety and emergency management, to leading enterprise IT programs and portfolios.

Different environments, same reality, what you build determines how you perform when it matters. Across all of it, the lesson has been consistent: you don’t rise to the moment, you fall back on what you’ve built.

That realization is what led to Own. Move. Anchor.

Own is about taking responsibility for how you think, how you respond, and how you show up, especially when it would be easier not to.

Move is about action, physically and mentally. Training your body, building capability, and continuing to progress instead of staying comfortable.

Anchor is about staying grounded in what matters: your values, your people, and your purpose, so you don’t drift when things get hard.

Outside of work, I train in my garage gym and on the mats. I’m a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, still learning, still getting caught, still showing up. That’s the point. The work carries across everything, discipline, movement, and staying steady when things don’t go your way.

This isn’t theory. It’s a simple system built from experience, tested under pressure, and refined over time.

I created this platform to share that system in different ways, depending on how you learn and what you need.

The podcast is where I break down leadership, decision-making, and real-world application under pressure.

YouTube is where I show the physical side, training, discipline, and how movement supports everything else.

The books go deeper, connecting lessons from leadership, life, and experience into something you can apply over the long term.

If you’re carrying responsibility at work, at home, and within yourself, this is built for you.
